Here are the answers to a few questions you may have before you inquire. If you still have a question unanswered, please don't hesitate to ask on the inquiry form!
How does the process work?
Please view the "Custom" page for information about the process; additional process information can also be found on this list of FAQ's.
Can you design for other events besides weddings?
Yes! Please make sure you list the type of event on the inquiry form.
I'd love to get this exact design *insert screenshot of a different artist's work*. Can you re-make it for me?
As beautiful as the design may be, I will not be able to copy or re-make another artist's designs. When you order stationery from me, you're also paying for my design time and creative direction in the process.
How many invitations should I get if my guest count is ___?
As a general rule of thumb, each single adult gets one invitation, each couple gets one invitation, and each family (parent(s) with children) gets one invitation. You should be ordering fewer invitations than your guest count. Your RSVP card count should match your invitation count; your enclosure card count can differ depending on its content.
How soon before my event do I need to inquire?
Since you will be getting hand-illustrated, custom stationery, I recommend inquiring at least 8 months before. This ensures that I have plenty of time to design, print, and ship your stationery, and that you have plenty of time to assemble and address each set. As a general rule of thumb, invitations should be mailed to guests 2-3 months before the wedding. For other, smaller events, I recommend inquiring at least 2-3 months before. If you're already less than 8 months (or 3 months for other events) out from your date, please still inquire! I may still be able to design your stationery.
Will I get a proof of my design before you print it?
Yes, in the form of a digital image. I will send you the first proof after I have finished designing based on the customizations you've listed in the customization form (this form will be emailed to you after you inquire). You can have up to three revisions (i.e. changing another element, changing text wording, etc.) after receiving the first proof. Once you approve the proof, the printing process will begin, and revisions can no longer be made.
What paper do you print on?
All stationery will be printed on matte, heavyweight white card stock.
Do you offer envelope printing?
Yes! I offer printed addresses on your envelopes for an additional charge; all orders of invitations will come with blank white envelopes, and RSVP cards will come with smaller blank white envelopes at no additional charge.
When do you ship the stationery?
I will most likely ship your stationery soon after it's been printed or at least 4 months before your event, provided you inquire at least 8 months before.
Will my stationery be pre-assembled upon arrival?
I do not pre-assemble the stationery. Cards and envelopes will be packaged in separate bags then placed together in a box.
How do you accept payment?
Payments will be processed via credit card. I require a deposit of 25% of your total before I start the design process. The remaining balance will be due before I print your designs. You will receive an invoice with a secure payment link before you pay.
Do you accept returns/refunds?
Your deposit ensures that I am at least compensated for the design time if you choose to cancel before printing. If you choose to cancel after printing, I can only offer a refund for the cost of envelopes and shipping (provided I don't ship the stationery). Once a design has been printed, the paper and ink have been used, and it cannot be resold due to its custom nature. I do not accept returns.
